McAuley Catholic College Mercy Library

McAuley Catholic College Mercy Library provides information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in today's information and knowledge-based society. The library is a central hub for learning in the school and provides a friendly and stimulating environment for learning, research and reading and equips students with life-long learning skills and develops the imagination, enabling them to live as responsible citizens.

Our library staff aim to provide a positive and productive experience for all students and staff, from providing research assistance to access to collaborative learning spaces or quiet reading and study spaces.

The Mercy Library houses a great variety of resources including Reference, Non-Fiction, Fiction, Magazine and Newspaper print items. The library is not just for reading and researching but where students can find puzzles and games to play during lunchtimes and is the hub of Book Club, Reading Challenges and our Annual Bookweek event.

Printing, photocopying and scanning machines for student use are in the Library and students get an allocated budget to spend on printing each semester. The Library houses the College Textbook collection and textbooks are administered through the Library system. Students also come to the Library to access help for Technology problems.
